Mission Statement

The State of Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners is the regulatory body of the State of Arizona charged with protecting the health, welfare and safety of the public through the enforcement of the laws governing the practice of chiropractic.

The Board licenses over 2700 chiropractors to practice in the State of Arizona. The Board also accepts and investigates complaints against licensed and unlicensed individuals.

Complaints Advisory Letters and Non-Disciplinary Orders:  The Board office should be contacted to determine if the licensee has a history of dismissed complaints, advisory letters or non-disciplinary orders.

Notice of Board Meetings and Agendas: Board agendas are posted at the Board office located at 5060 N. 19th Ave, #416, Phoenix, AZ  85015 and are available on the Board’s Web site the day before the meeting.  Notices of Board meetings are also posted at this address and at the Department of Administration, 1700 W. Washington, Phoenix, 85007.

Continuing Education Requirements - Not all continuing education requires board approval.  Click here to determine if a specific continuing education course needs board approval and how request approval.

Statute amendments effective July 29, 2010:  A.R.S. § 32-925 was amended removing the requirement that physical medicine modalities and therapeutic procedures (formerly physiotherapy) and acupuncture be preparatory and complimentary to chiropractic adjustment.
